Ming Dynasty style Painting, Limited Edition (12/50)

Some of Lin Fengmian’s early paintings were obliterated by Japanese conquerors during the Sino-Japanese War, and later works were eradicated in the Cultural Revolution – the artist himself destroyed many canvases after apologizing for political ‘crimes.' Here we see a typical Lin blending of Eastern and Western styles in his tribute to the Legend of the concubine of the Song Dynasty. Remastered in 2017 by Art Chateau.
