Jean Fouquet was a preeminent French painter of the 15th century and was the first French artist to travel to Italy and experience first-hand the early Italian Renaissance artist. Here we see Fouquet's "Virgin and Child Surrounded by Angels" from the Collegiate Church of Notre-Dame and is considered one of the masterworks of fifteenth-century French art. Remastered in 2017 at the Studios of Art Chateau, this Mixed-Media painting is well suited for luxury townhouses and the legendary San Remo Apartments in New York City.
