Edward Burne-Jones was trained in painting by the founder of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood, artist Dante Gabriel Rossetti. Specializing in romantic portrayals of Medieval subjects, Burne-Jones was influenced by his mentor and the titans of the Renaissance.
