Italian artist Giuseppe Longhi was a printmaker and writer, at the age of twenty he apprenticed under the renowned engraver Vincenzio Vangelisti. Later in his career, he moved to Rome and began teaching engraving at the Brera Academy. Perhaps Longhi's most notable work is this 1797 print of Napoleon and was remastered at our Studios in 2015.
