Academically-trained French artist Delphin Enjolras produced various subjects in a wide array of mediums, creating landscapes, portraits, figure studies, and domestic scenes using watercolor, oil, and pastels. His Feminine studies were marked by their risque quality, although this beautiful interior is somewhat tame even for the artist’s time.
