Haddon "Sunny" Sundblom is best known for his illustrations of Santa Claus advertisements that he rendered for The Coca-Cola Company in the mid 20th century. He also began painting pin-ups in the 1930s and greatly influenced the genre as a whole. One of his last commissions was for the 1972 Playboy Christmas issue.
