Frank Weston Benson was a painter who produced works in both the Realistic style as well as that of American Impressionism. Benson studied at the Museum of Fine Arts School in Boston, and also in Paris. His “Sunlight” is a lovely figure study in the Impressionist style with evocative facture and an emphasis on illumination.
