Directed by Cecil B. DeMille’s older brother William, this silent-era romantic drama starred Bebe Daniels, Lewis Stone, Adoph Menjou and Kathlyn Williams. In a plot far too convoluted to fully explain, people are killed, reputations ruined, innocent people wrongly condemned and paintings very nearly slashed, but movie-goers go home happy when the heroine and her faithful admirer (her manager) are reunited in the last reel.
